Understanding What’s Beneath the Surface

People often come to therapy noticing patterns they don’t fully understand such as strong emotional reactions, difficulty staying connected, or a sense of being pulled in different directions. These experiences rarely come out of nowhere. They often develop as ways of coping with earlier relationships, stress, or experiences that shaped how you learned to feel, relate, and protect yourself. Therapy can be a space to slow things down and look more closely at these patterns, helping you understand what’s happening beneath the surface and why it makes sense, rather than viewing yourself through a lens of self-blame.

Who I Work With and What I Help With

I provide telehealth therapy in New Jersey to teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, identity concerns, and relationship stress. I have a strong focus on working with LGBTQIA+ individuals and those exploring identity, belonging, and self-acceptance in the context of their relationships and life experiences. Many clients come to therapy feeling emotionally overwhelmed, stuck in repeating patterns, or unsure how to make sense of their reactions in relationships. My work often involves helping people understand the emotional and relational patterns that developed as ways of coping, particularly in the context of trauma, invalidation, or difficult past experiences.
